What is SkyWorks Domain?
We are a photography and data capture studio operating across ground, cave, air, and space. We deliver both artistic imagery and precision data. We work from single-frame photographs to gigapixel panoramas.
Are you still a drone photography company?
We started as a drone service, but we have expanded to cover all environments: ground, cave, air, and space. Drone photography is now one part of our broader capabilities.
What areas do you operate in?
Our core operations are in NSW (Northern, Central, and Southern regions). We're available for projects across all Australian states.

Services & Pricing
What are your pricing tiers?
We have three photography packages: Essential (from $150), Advanced (from $300), and Commercial (from $600). Data analysis and custom projects are quoted based on the scope of work.
What does 'per quote' mean?
For projects that require site analysis such as cave shoots, gigapixel expeditions, and custom data analysis, we provide a custom quote based on the specific requirements of your project.
Do you do weddings and events?
Yes. Our Essential Captures package is perfect for weddings, corporate events, and celebrations.
Do you do real estate?
Yes. Both standard photography and gigapixel panoramas are available for real estate and property development.
Technical
What format do you shoot in?
All our equipment shoots RAW. Our drone shoots RAW plus JPEG with D-Log/M 10-bit recording. Our smartphone and DSLR cameras shoot RAW. All files are post-processed for maximum quality.
What is a gigapixel panorama?
A gigapixel panorama is an ultra-high-resolution image with hundreds of megapixels where every pixel is readable at ground level. It is created by stitching dozens or hundreds of overlapping photographs.
How long does processing take?
Simple edits are quick. Complex gigapixel panoramas can take 30 minutes or more to save a single edit from our workstation. Full shoot processing typically takes one to three days depending on data volume.
What is your compute setup?
Our main workstation has a powerful CPU, capable GPU, and 96GB of memory. Our secondary PC has a capable GPU with 32GB of memory. We process about 20GB of RAW files per shoot through about 300GB of scratch disk workflows.
Do you offer HDR?
Yes. We shoot AEB, which stands for Auto Exposure Bracketing, for maximum dynamic range. Final exports are available in 8-bit, 16-bit, or HDR 16-bit to 32-bit.
Licenses & Insurance
Are you licensed?
Yes. We hold a CASA Commercial Drone Accreditation (ARN 1291509).
Do you have insurance?
We are planning hull insurance and public liability coverage up to $1 million to $2 million.
What about flight permits?
We handle all flight permit applications and airspace checks as part of our mission planning process.
